Board Meeting Location Change

The Calmar Public Library Board's regular meeting has been changed. The board will meet on October 27, from 6pm-7pm in the Council Chambers.

We're Renovating!

That's right. The Calmar Public Library is undergoing some serious renovations. From floor to ceiling, the library is getting a major makeover. So, for the next few months as the renovators renovate, the library will be temporarily located at the Bricco Restaurant across the street. We will only be taking a part of the collection with us, but we will still have our new releases and popular titles, as well as magazines, dvds, and public computers. Please stop by Bricco for a coffee and a look at our new, but temporary, space.

Teen Advisory Board

Looking to make a difference in the library? Our newly-formed Teen Advisory Board welcomes new members. We meet once a month and make decisions about programming, decorating, and collection development. This is a great opportunity for teens to get involved in library activities. Ages 15-18 welcome. Interested parties should contact the library for more details.
